Back on the road again

An important piece of the Swan Valley Historical Museum (SVHM) is back up and in running condition.  The Model T was not able to celebrate it’s 100th anniversary last year by driving down the dirt paths of the Museum but the 1916 produced vehicle is now cruising along, thanks to John Twilley.

“It’s been acting up for the last five years,” said Twilley. “It had a lack of power, was over-heating and all the good things that go along with old cars.”

He then went on to explain all the work that went into repairing it, from searching the internet to finally tracking down the right parts, in the right sizes, at a novelty parts source west of Edmonton, all while doing all the restoration work with his own hands.
